Bianca Steinhilber, M.A., studied European Studies, History, Cultural Studies, Slavic and Romance Studies at the Justus Liebig University of Giessen, the University of Paris IV Sorbonne and the RWTH Aachen University. In her M.A. thesis she explored the phenomenology of Jihad and the resulting consequences for the security and order in Germany. Her dissertation deals with the jihadi radicalization in the European Union and the implementation through the national states in matters of prevention. She is a scholar of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and works for an EU-financed prevention project against religious extremism.
